A Beetle GSR. As special editions go, this one is pretty nifty. 10 extra horsepowers accompany the new aesthetic scheme. This one was just getting unstuck from the snow as I rolled up.

There’s a local one in town near me that parks at a popular brunch destination. Always good spotting it and appreciating it. Have yet to meet the owner. One day.
This one especially looks nice being lowered just a bit.

VW was doing test drives of the GSR at last year’s Chicago Auto Show. It was the first Beetle I’ve ever driven. And I loved it!

God, you’re right. All-Seasons are such shit. They suck at everything! They suck on mountain roads in the summer, they suck in the ice and snow, ugh. So awful. Who would ever buy all-season tires when they only have enough money for one set of tires? Fucking idiots, that’s who. God forbid you ever try and autocross with them. My gf grew up in Burlington, WI and always calls it Slug Bug instead of Punch Buggy. I grew up in MD and we always said Punch Buggy. But you’re in WI and you’re saying Punch Buggy. I’m so confused.
